Sunday 16th September 2007 by Ian Binnie

Sunday morning, get up early and check the weather forecast. North West 4 to 5 Showers at first... Good just what we want, so lets head for Eriskay and our planed sail to Lochcarnan in An Sulaire This was to be Calum's first day sailing. After a safety lecture from Captain Calum Macleod we departed Acairseid Mhor in Eriskay at 10.30 and were soon underway, passing Lochboisdale and Locheynort with squally showers over Beinn Corradail. After Usinish Lighthouse we spotted two whales and several schools of porpoises, then we turned in for Lochcarnan pier. An Sulaire was put on its mooring for 17.30. Calum and Ian had a very enjoyable day at sea and thanks again to Calum MacLeod and his crew.
