We had a few drams in Normans on Saturday night.
Saturday 9th February 2008 Lifeboat day in Eriskay
Barra Lifeboat
Fund raising day for Barra Lifeboat was held in Eriskay on Saturday. The lifeboat was on display at Acairseid Mhor and we had a guided tour round the boat. Afterwards there was a raffle and stalls in the hall, for funds for the lifeboat.
Friday 8th February 2008 Stormy weather in Lochboisdale
Lord of the Isles is Stormbound
The weather on Friday morning, on my way to work at nine o' clock was blowing south east severe gale force nine, with gusts of storm ten and violent storm eleven. I was struggling to stand up and hold the camera steady.
Come five o'clock when leaving work the sunset just serene.
